Another great Vampire day! We've got another of our Stretch Goal projects ready for you!
Trails of Ash and Bone includes:

BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of Trails of Ash and Bone to be released. We've sent you this initial Backer PDF for three reasons:
1) Who wants to wait?! These projects can take a long time to turn into final releases - you know that - and the Onyx Path team wants to get them into your hands as quickly as possible!
2) To thank you for your support! This project, literally, is a direct result of your support during the Kickstarter campaign. You deserve to see it before anyone else!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Trails of Ash and BoneFeedback Form!
Generally, Onxy Path tries to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, so please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure they're getting everything covered.
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only. It won't be for general book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.
Also, they already know about any Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), they will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

We've had a series of updates over the past several weeks, but not a "regular" Month End Update, so let's call this a throw-back to simpler times and review our reward status and project list.
ONYX PATH VIRTUAL GAMING CONVENTION
Before I review our reward status, let me announce (or, copy Onyx Path's announcement!) the Second Onyx Path Virtual Gameing Convention will be coming to you live starting Friday, June 11th and running until Sunday, June 13th (including a special post-con Jackbox gamefest Sunday night hosted by Dixie)!

A few things to highlight in there:
The Vampire:The Masqerade 5E panel on Saturday, June 12th at 9:00 AM EDT (nice and early!), the Chronicles of Darkness panel later that day at 1:00 PM EDT, and the World of Darkness panel on Sunday, June 13th at 11:30 AM EDT could all be of interest!
In terms of scheduled Actual Plays, Cults of the Blood Gods run by Matthew Dawkins will make an appearance on June 12 at 11:00 AM EDT, so that should be well worth checking out.

Shipping Update

Hello Bloodthirsty Backers,
It's been almost 16 months since our Kickstarter campaign ended and the "post-campaign" work began on this project. In an ideal world, I would have been sending this update out about a month ago, if not earlier, but of course we don't live in an ideal world.
To say the past 16 months have been a struggle for many is an understatement. Even those who have been lucky enough to avoid the worst of the challenges over the past year have still had to deal with the cascade of delays and obstacles as everyone managed through the pandemic as best they could. The shifting of employment and workloads, the changing schedules and manufacturing ability, not to mention personal losses, and the reorganization of how Paradox manages the Vampire: The Masquerade brand have certainly presented challenges to this project. But, at last, I'm happy to be able to confirm that the final 20 packages for this project were shipped out today.
What would have been a 10-day pick, pack, and ship process took double that, as our fulfillment partners at Studio 2 continued to deal with the ongoing obstacles from the past year, but at last we're here.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and enthusiasm as these books trickled out of the shipping bay and work their way through the various delivery systems.
TRACKING INFORMATION
Normally, US backers would start seeing deliveries a week or two after the orders have left the warehouse, but the strain on delivery infrastructure during this pandemic has a cascading effect that's just slowing all processes down. That's also affecting tracking updates - but, I'm told, information should catch up as packages move through the system. Many of us have actually received our books before the tracking status got updated, but the good news is that, eventually, everything should be delivered and confirmed.
Now that the orders have shipped, you will (*should*) get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Your tracking information may take 2-5 days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.
Your BackerKit Confirmation page has:
1 - Your Reward Tier
2 - Your BackerKit e-mail (and the link between the Community Page and your Confirmation Page)
3 - the TRACKING NUMBER for your shipment (once it's been uploaded)
4 - Your confirmed shipping address
5 - A link to your digital redemption codes

TRACKING YOUR ORDERS
As noted in this update, it may take up to 48 hours for Tracking Information to update. That said, tracking your packages - especially for international orders - can provide great assistance in solving minor issues before they become major issues.
International Shipping costs continue to climb - that's an understatement - and every sign points to additional costs coming later in 2021, so it's pretty important that we avoid any re-ships or additional shipping charges as much as possible. And that's where your help can really come in handy.
I've dealt with several situations where shipments were marked as "delivered" but the backer hadn't checked the tracking information for months, unaware that the package had been sitting at a neighbor's house or stuck in a local postal facility.
So, please, check your tracking number over the next few weeks. If you haven't received your package by, let's say May 31, review the tracking number to see where the issue might be.
Again, it may take a few days for any status updates to appear, and depending on the country and carrier, each package may enjoy a different transit time. But if we're into June, let's see if we can sort out any delivery issues while everything's still fresh.
For example, if Package status indicates it was delivered but you never received it
Double-check your Backerkit CONFIRMATION PAGE (as detailed above) that the correct address was provided, and maybe check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t accidentally left there. If that doesn’t turn up anything, contact the carrier or your local post office to report the package as not received and please contact me using the Contact Creator button on kickstarter to let me know you didn’t get your order.
I've seen so many orders sitting in a local post office for 8 weeks while the recipient was left unaware that it was waiting. Additionally, other backers have solved issues almost immediately with a quick call to FedEx and providing their tracking number.
It's a HUGE help to me and Onyx Path if we can solve any wayward shipment or stuck orders in February, rather than waiting until the spring when shipping systems finally give up delivery attempts and return the items to our fulfillment partner (at an extra cost to Onyx Path). Let's avoid paying for multiple return shipments if we can! Thanks for your help in advance.
Also, if you have any issues with your shipment or books, do not panic! As we've all done for this past year, we will get through this. It may take a bit to sort, but I'll do my best to make sure everyone gets their rewards.

Payment and Address Reminder - And Digital Wallpaper Reward

As mentioned in our last update, today (April 14) we'll be authorizing BackerKit to begin step 2 of the lockdown process: Processing Payments.
Oh yeah, I've also got another digital reward that'll go out later today.

BACKERKIT PAYMENT PROCESSING BEGINS TODAY
We have now locked in our rewards and will be able to provide final numbers to our shipping partners. Now, we've got two more key steps before fulfillment of the hardcover book:
1. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed. Later today, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments. If there are any issues, don't panic. BackerKit will re-attempt any unprocessed transactions each day so you can update your information and they'll catch it the next day.
2. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for April and May 2020. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by APRIL17 2021. In four days, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to begin shipping out by the end of the month.
Once again - to confirm We will ship to the address in the system as of April 17th and consider it job done once it's delivered.
There are still a handful of Brazilian backers that need to enter their CPF information. We cannot ship your order until this is entered, so please double check that it's included in your address my Brazilian friends!
(Of course, if you're getting digital rewards only, you don't need to worry about your address. This is just for the physical books).
